Randonnée Vallée de la Clarée 19-20/08/2021


A gor quick return to the Clarée valley where we were able to hike for 2 days. Despite the overcrowding we were nevertheless able to explore beautiful steep trails away from the crowds. You just have to know where to go.

The welcome at the shelter has remained unchanged for so many years, we feel so good there.

2 days of hiking in Ubaye under the majestic Brec du Chambeyron. How beautiful it is! Superb lakes, very accessible peaks of over 3000 m. What a joy to be able to walk in these places with such a group. With in addition a starry night and a good meal at the Chambeyron refuge.

Certainly one of the most beautiful walks of the summer, the peaks of more than 3000 m of altitude surround us, we see far, Italy very close and this valley that I particularly like, the Ubaye which is just below us. Vultures, fox cubs playing. I want to stay there! And all this in a good mood with a sporty group who only want one thing to climb again and again.

Back in Clapeyto where I had not been since this winter. It is still as beautiful, calm and revitalizing. Hikes where we only want to continue walking in these magical landscapes. Thank you Queyras



Morgon hike 07/31/2021

Hello, I would like to go to the Pic du Morgon, is that possible? Of course, with pleasure. So here we are, off on the trails leading us to this beautiful summit overlooking the Serre-Ponçon lake and the town of Embrun. We will have to pay attention to the weather because the Morgon is known for being often struck by lightning. These days the weather is capricious and complicated. We will pass between the drops and arrive in the cirque while other brave or unconscious people will stay at the summit during the storm. We will take full advantage of this beautiful day while the storms will come to water the surroundings abundantly.


Risoul Hiking


Here we are on the heights of the Durance for a magnificent hike on easy ridges. With a sky like that it was the perfect moment to go for a walk and enjoy these moments of good weather during this very complicated summer.


Hiking in Crévoux. Crachet Lake

Today we are on the heights of the Serre-Ponçon and Embrun lakes. I find the regulars there, still in great shape, accompanied by 2 other equally motivated couples. A beautiful walk in the cool air in the land of vultures and marmots.


Hiking Les Orres, Charance Plateau


Family walk in Les Orres this morning, a chance to stretch your legs with a view of Lake Serre-Ponçon before starting the week's hikes.


Hiking in Châteauroux-les-Alpes, Pisse Waterfall


This very famous hike will take us to the Cascade de la Pisse located in Châteauroux-les-Alpes. Measuring 135 m high, it is one of the most impressive in the region. An unmissable place during your vacation in the

Hautes-Alpes Serre-Ponçon. Be careful though about the attendance, only a few paths are still peaceful and pleasant and you have to know them. I'm waiting for the bravest to go take a shower under this impressive waterfall.


Randonnée Serre-Ponçon, Col des Olettes


Here we are on the border between Ubaye and Embrunais. A technical hike but worth the detour. The panorama is superb all along this path which can impress some. Congratulations to all the participants for this great performance. And what a joy to hike without seeing anyone.

Hiking Les Orres, sunset


Tonight we were on a sunset hike. We were spoiled, our star sets on the Aiguilles de Chabrière and behind us the Moon discreetly points its nose on the Boussolenc. With in addition to that children having fun and smiling parents. Can't wait for next week.


Crévoux Hike, Fairy Trail


Today our hike takes place partly in the fairy trail (Crévoux), New works have been added to the existing ones. A touch of "madness" is necessary to perceive the messages that the authors of these sculptures want to convey to us. No matter, we had a great morning in a good mood. These will remain good memories shared with a dynamic and smiling team. We'll meet up this evening for the sunset.


Hiking Queyras, Ceillac 07/20/2021

Here we are in Queyras on the trails of one of the most beautiful hikes in the valley. Lake Saint Anne, Lake Miroir and des Rouites will be among the few places where we will stop. A very beautiful day with people as smiling and friendly as they are sporty. All under its majesty the Font Sancte. What a beautiful mountain! I would be tempted to go around it, wouldn't you?

Discovery hike for newcomers, and not only, regulars are also there for this walk in the forest along the river. A good time spent together before starting the serious stuff tomorrow with Lac Saint Anne.
